OOPS!going the wrong way! Re commiting to getting down below my original goal weight. I have been griping about my challenging work shift (4pm to 4 am) long enough. time to figure it out. The challenges are real, and everyone I work with says they put on weight on the shift as well. Just gonna have to get up an hour earlier and get back to all of that good exercise I was getting when I lost 40.SETTING MINI GOALS DAILY. GETTING
BACK TO BASICS!

Have gained weight in the last six months, but really doing my damndest to limt processed foods, fast food etc. Still mostly cook what I eat. Swing / Grave shift combo (4pm to 4 am 4 days a week) has made exercise a chalenge, but not an impossibility. Everyone on this shift says they gained weight in first few months. Ill figure it out. Doing what I can. It still feels good to be fitting into my 'new" clothes! I know I am not sayying screw it and eating whatever I want whenever I want (sounds good though hee hee) so Ill keep fighting the good fight. Doing the footwork to improve my shift situaition. Night shifts are for singlre folks, man, not family guys like me!!!

Excellent weekend camping. Lots of swimming and hiking and trying to keep a couple of 8 year old boys entertained!

INTO THE SOLUTION....NO MORE BITCHING. I altered my lunch to the daylight hours, now I can walk AND see! (bonus) got 2.5 mils in on my first day. Also managing to jump in and help unload some traliers. Enjoying healthy, homemade food and snacks. Im not gonna let this weird work schedule undo my hard work from the past year and a half....just aint gonna happen! Thanks buddies for your support and tolerance. Im back in action! Im making the best of what I have...I have a great life, family (and yes, even a great job, just silly old hours!!) PEEEEEEEEACE!

Sucking. Although 175 is not the end of the world, (I think 170 would be my ideal...wife said 165 was way too skinny) It just seems impossible

to gain on this stupid Swing/ graveyard 12.5 hour shift Im on. Yes, Ive been whining about it. Yes, I made the choice to work here, (but I was told to expect 10 hrs a shift) Im just pissed that the body seems to gain as it is confused at to what I am doing to it!And Yes, I am doing the footwork to amend the situation. Meantime, let a brother be pissed. I worked very hard, and am still working hard, to stay fit. I get the reps in when I can, I still make my own food, but sheesh..Im chunking up man! The human body was not meant to do this. To all you shift workers making it happen...my hats off to you. A simple grave OR swing would be okay,not both!
