Well, I didn't meat the 5 pound goal by Christmas but I did lose 1 pound and that's progress none the less. Now that the holiday's are over I'm going to start getting back into the swing of things. It's time to finally get this weight off and start doing the things I want to do. It will be done, 1 pound at a time.

I got lazy and fell off the wagon this week. We had a nice surprise and got to see my husbands two oldest kids for a few days before Christmas so we were able to celebrate a bit with them. I am going to try my best to stay strong this week and get back on my plan hardcore after Christmas. I know it has been said not to make a plan to start but to just start now but with Christmas a few days away I'm going to give myself a little slack. I'm going to have to show some self restraint with all the goodies that people are going to have but I'm not going to tell myself no to everything.

Stayed the same this week. I won't lie, I'm a bit disappointed but I'm not going to let it discourage me from going on. I know that if I keep on this track the weight will eventually start to fall off.

Last night was a long night. I usually let my 2 year old stay up a little but later on the weekends so that I can sleep in for a bit. However, we have been working on sleeping in a big bed and she doesn't like to stay in her bed so she didn't go to sleep until after midnight.....then decided that she wanted to wake mommy up at 8am this morning. It is going to be a long day. I started my day with a workout hoping that it will keep me going throughout the day today. I'm going to try to get some Christmas shopping done for the kids and get some decorations up....we are a bit behind in this department. Hoping to keep myself busy today so I don't spend the day on the couch.....we'll see!

Feeling really good today. I got my workout in last night even though it was a little bit later than I would have liked; I have to work off of the schedule of a 2 year old, lol. Once she was in bed I was good to go. Today is day 3 but I'm feeling like I can keep this up; I've had no sweets in the past 2 days and I don't miss them. I had a week moment yesterday when I wanted to reach in my desk drawer & get into the bag of jelly beans in there but I drank a diet coke instead and it helped with the sweet craving. I do have a question though, between the time I work out and the time I go to bed I want a snack. What would be ok to eat at this time (it's usually after supper) or should I just say no to eating?
