Baked Chicken with Mushrooms & Peppers
Super tasty and healthy chicken breast with sliced mushrooms and red or green peppers.
Ingredients
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
- Place the chicken breasts in a 9×13" baking dish.
- Sprinkle the chicken with the onion flakes.
- In a small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, and garlic powder; pour the mixture evenly over the chicken.
- Cover and bake for about 30 minutes.
- Spread the mushrooms and red or green peppers evenly over the chicken and continue to bake, covered, for about 20 more minutes (or until the mushrooms are tender).

This is just soooo simple and soooo yummy! I did use lite soy sauce and added chopped onions and a little red pepper flakes for a kick! The honey is what makes this dish! You think it will be too salty but it turns out sweet and spicy! This simple, yummy and QUICK meal will be in my "keep pile". I served it with boiled potatoes and fresh corn.

I just made this for lunch, it was soo good. I added my own twist to it: I used 1 onion instead of onion flakes, added carrots, and crushed red pepper flakes for an extra kick. I would def make this again.

H liked it - I thought it was a little bland and not pleasing to look at. Chicken turned black from soy sauce.

I made this tonight and wow it was surprisingly good. Very easy to make and since I made it in a glass dish, I was able to put the lid on and place it right in the fridge when I finished cooking. For the ease and taste 5 stars

Ill try this tonight.....but will add some pepper flakes for spice, u know to help kick up the metabolism. N maybe sub honey for something huh or not.....
