Had chips again, last night, from a Chinese takeout place. Dipped them in red pepper houmous and it was delicious. They usually screw with my body, but a charcoal tablet right after eating (way too many of the chips, because I hadn't eaten much that day) really made a difference.

Lil tip I just got from my step-mother. If you're doing machine flyes, don't grasp the bars if you're aiming entirely for the pecs (which most probably are if they're doing flyes!) instead have an open palm, this will encourage the use of the pecs, rather than the shoulders.
Also, I watched some videos of people doing Crossfit, and OMG, I was in tears with laughter. The forms they do (or lack of)... Jesus, some scary crap that just destroys a body. I really hope that not all Crossfit is as horrendous as what I've seen and read. xD

A lot has gone on, lately. Not doing very well, but despite everything, I still whack out what exercises I can on the little sleep I've been getting. All things said and done, my bulk has gone well and I have most definitely gained mass and quite a bit of density. My muscles feel tight and strong, rather than soft and weak. Calisthenics is just so amazing.
I've been doing inclined pushups for a while and a few other variations, and focusing on very slow, tense reps on the pullup bar (pullups and variations of chinups) focusing on my pecs a lot. At least to me, they pop right the heck out. I've also been focusing quite a bit on the biceps, as I'm still working on that non-dominant side. (my left) But it's catching up somewhat, just need to "fix" the tricep, as well, as it's really lagging behind, particularly in strength.
As for the body fat, well, one of the problems I've been having lately is of an IBS kind of nature, so... nuff said. :\ Working on it, though - I've got all sorts of herbal crap in the house.
I think I might stop the bulk for a few weeks, and focus more on cardio and of course body fat loss. I've got pretty thick abs, even the lower ones, but they're still not visible enough to my liking. And what's with that effing belly? I'm in sort of good shape, right? Yet that belly is still there and I hate it. It's even worse when I end up bloated because of my ISB-type crap - I end up looking like shit and it really gets me down.
Anywho, hope y'all are doing better than I am!

Had another go on my step-mother's lat pulldown machine. It was a blast! It has the flye function too, so I was able to do those and loved it. Finally, I can work the pecs in a way other than just whacking out a bunch of pushups. (I love pushups, but they get old after a while, right? xD)
I also did some lat pulldowns and actaully managed to lift almost all the weight on the machine, which was a touch over 60KG or something. I dunno if that's good for a guy of my size, but it sure felt it. Hah Could probably do a rep or two of the entire lot (around 70KG perhaps) but the machine looked like it was struggling more than I was. x_x
Quite excited to be working the pecs more, though; mine are a tad lackluster, particularly in strength, I fear.

Since I can't log things more accurately on this site, I'll put this here:
Biked at approximately 20-23kmph for 7.5km @ 8/8 difficulty setting. (20 mins)
Still have a sore, achy, stiff neck, so I'm not able to do much resistance stuff, unless I focus on things like biceps and legs, but they often end up using the neck in some way, even if it's just a little tension. I dunno what I've done to myself, but it's been like this for a while. I'm assuming it's a mixture of crap posture, stress, crap sleep, and overtraining, ... possibly one more than the other. xD
No picture updates this time, as I don't feel happy with how I like. I feel as though I look weaker, but in reality, I've just lost bodyfat. The skinnier I get, the more issues I'm going to have with it, just like I used to - the pendulum swings both ways, guys.
I'm just hoping when I'm leaner, the muscle will be easier to put on, because I won't be so fixated on bodyfat loss.
I mentioned that I do HIIT to someone recently, and they said it was bad, and can cause heart attacks, which really worries me. I jumped in HIIT's defence by saying that it's probably due to those who are very overweight, have heart problems, and in particular, have high BP, ... am I thinking correctly? Should I stop HIIT and go with regular cardio?
