I almost feel like a person today, but I don't know where the day went. I spent some time chatting with my husband, my sister...did a steam treatment and a face mask..and it's FIVE? I got up at 9!
I had a salad last night for dinner, but don't want to mess with this nice weight loss. I'm going to start some detox to hopefully kick out the rest of this illness but will probably stay on mostly liquids for a few more days.

. I can see the muscle tone but there's still a lot of extra meat suit. Cardio, cardio, cardio.
I'm annoyed that my plans to start my next round of P90X are thrown off by the sick. I was supposed to start Tuesday, but I'm going to need to wait at least another week before I start pushing my body that hard. Next week I plan to get back in the pool, not training hard but getting back into the swing of things. Lots of treading water, slow, and gentle swimming.
If I can stay low carb, and get through P90X, I'm going to ROCK my 33rd in that bikini! I'm soooooooo close!

I'm living on Slim Fast and liquids since my sore throat hasn't allowed solid foods for 4 days. I'm
hungry
, yes, but I'm also mostly sedentary. My weak adrenal system means that the average cold or flu really weakens my body so fatigue is the longest lasting symptom. I'm a chronic faster so I'm used to going for up to 30 days at a time on just liquids, but usually it shuts down the digestive processes which isn't the case with meal replacements so that's why I'm still hungry.
As my throat heals I'll add in more lean proteins, veggies once I start moving around again.

Went to the Dr. today who put me on antibiotics and gave me a steroid shot for all the swelling in my throat. Still on liquids, maybe tomorrow I might be able to get actual *soup* in. I can tell my caloric needs are changing. I'm
hungry-ish maybe a little I suppose?
But not really. I look at foods or think about food, esp. cheating foods, and my stomach starts to rumble. I
know
it wants carbs, but it can't have any other than the ones in the Slim Fast. I carbed out while Amy was in town having pho and all the middle eastern breads...
Get over it, body! No carbs! You can have all the milk and yogurt and cottage cheese and kifer you'd like tho. *sweet smile*

I know, I know...not enough calories. But liquids are all I can get down and the Slim Fast at least gives me more nutrition than ice cream. I tried soup today and it was just painful. I got 2 sips of Campbells' Tomato before throwing in the towel. Same with the tea. Ugh, here's hoping this crud hurries up and passes...
