So I did a crazy yesterday : I got on the scale carrying the dog, fully clothed in heavy jacket and boots with keys in my pocket. Obviously scale shot up, but it amazed me that it was still less than my starting weight! It made me grateful for the accomplishment thus far, and was just the boost I needed to stay on the course!

Honestly, I’m eating anything I want right now (am unofficially off Keto and even eating chocolates, cookies and donuts) but limiting portions. Im keeping with IF and daily working out, which has helped maintain my weight. Right now, I’m focused on getting strong and fit, and how clothes fit. Will focus on the scale again from 1st July

So I’m struggling with eating clean in this cooling weather (my house is colder than outside so I’m halfway in winter already🥶). My body wants starch, potatoes, bread, pasta🙇🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ My saving grace has been exercising daily at home and intermittent fasting, otherwise I’d be eating ALL day! I am / should be on Keto lifestyle but have upped my carb intake to probably 80g - 100g per day, but I’ve been good with limiting sugar (like sweets and chocolates) and having oranges instead! Thankfully, because of the hectic exercise programme, haven’t gained (or lost 🙇🏽♀️) but clothes hanging off me.
How’s everyone else coping with clean eating in this cooling weather?

Am not too fussed as I started exercising almost daily 4 weeks ago and scale hasn’t moved much but my clothes Fit🙌🏾💃🏽🥳 Like stuff that was in the give away pile because I’d figured I’d never be able to fit in them again. So yes, this another reminder for me on this journey that the scale isn’t everything, centimeter losses are more accurate reflections of my progress!
