Had another great night’s sleep and I am pleased to say my waterworks are performing like a pre-pubescent boy’s. I am really feeling quite a bit better today. My wounds are healing nicely, with no infections this time. I have given up on wearing dressings to cover them.
I am still suffering a bit of discomfort, but at least I can sleep on my sides now. The issue now is not overdoing things. I was going to take a walk to the local supermarket this morning, while Mrs T got some Croissants and such, but I was knocked back very sternly for suggesting it!

Here are some photos taken today, with my phone. I use a Nokia N8, bought because of the quality of its camera. It has a Carl Zeiss Tessar 2.8/28mm lens. It has a 12 Mp sensor.

Feel absolutely rotten today, compounded by Lily trampolining on my stomach before I could stop her. Madge is bussing it over to Danderhall today, to deliver shopping to her Mum. Two buses and two hours in each direction, so I just stayed in bed. Managed twelve hours of zzzeds so that won’t have done me any harm.
Yesterday’s fast didn’t last long. By early afternoon I was feeling hungry, so under the circumstances I decided to listen to my body and had something to eat. Today, on the other hand, I don’t feel I could face food. I’ll just have to play it by ear the next couple of weeks.
Removed my surgical stockings today. I don’t need to wear them passed five days. I also removed the dressings from the main wounds. Dressings were clean and dry, though wounds themselves are yellow with bruising.
Here are a couple of photographs of my girls, taken yesterday.
Have a great weekend everybody.

Did you see the BBC News this morning? A new development in health. US research shows that fasting can reverse Type II Diabetes. Where have I heard that expounded before? Here is the link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-39070183
My weight this morning wasn’t a surprise. It pretty much mimics what happened the last time I had surgery. The difference this time is I wasn’t on a drip for hours after the operation.
I am feeling really sore this morning, made worse after Lily jumped on my belly as I lay sleeping. I feel even worse because I heaved her off me, and the bed, and now she won’t come near me.
I am still on painkillers, but only the co-codamol. My wounds are clean and dry, with no infection this time round. Tomorrow I can remove the surgical stockings I have had to wear since the op and I am thinking of removing the dressings (only plasters) during the day, and only putting them on during the night.
My appetite has not returned to normal, so I am fasting today, with a view to continuing alternate day fasting during my recovery.

I felt I got a better sleep last night, but my Fitbit didn’t think so. Felt hungry this morning, so I ate yesterday’s ham baguette, for breakfast!
Stomach feels as if I have gone 10 rounds but at least I am getting about with little difficulty. My bowels are back to normal, but my waterworks are refusing to work properly. Although I am drinking plenty, I am passing very little, and what I do is taking about 10 minutes!!
Waiting on the snow arriving. It is pouring rain and blowing a gale as Storm Doris starts to build. Quite happy not to be able to get out today.
