A good loss, but just back to where I was before surgery. Now I am back to fluid only fasting, every second day, I hope to see that drop further.
Got my washing done and on the airers. Because of my medical condition I did the washing in our own machine in the kitchen. That way I had no stairs and no heavy lifting to do. Okay, so the lounge looks like a Chinese laundry, but it will be dry by tomorrow evening.
Mrs T has another bus run to her mother’s tomorrow. I was told I cannot consider driving until I no longer need painkillers, and I think I still have a way to go there.

Fasting again today. Still rather sore, but mainly where the wounds were, as against the actual site of the hernia repair. They went in through two 5mm and one 10mm incision in my right hand side, though the actual repair was slightly left of my centreline.
I did get another good night’s sleep, last night, so obviously my body needs the rest. And that is despite sleeping for a couple of hours, yesterday afternoon!
Very cold here today. Sun is shining, but there is a brisk breeze and the temperature has only just climbed above freezing. Mrs Jocko is working extra today, so I have no idea when she will be home. Just when the hospital is done with her services I suppose.

Behaved rather silly yesterday, and I think I have done myself a disservice. On Monday we had 6, 30 Litre, bags of cat litter delivered. They weigh a ton, and I always feel sorry for the courier driver as he humphs them, one at a time, up the 48 stairs to our flat.
Mrs T managed to drag them upstairs, to our spare room, where we store them.
Well, yesterday, I went into the room to get our vacuum cleaner and I struggled to get past them, so, you know what’s coming next, I dragged them into a slightly better position. Well, as I should have expected, I managed to tear something in the process. I don’t think I have done any permanent damage, but I have set myself back to where I was a day or so after the operation. Mrs T was livid.
As they say, “No fool like an old fool.”
Managed my fast yesterday. Fasted about 32 hours, all told. Broke my fast this morning with a handful of cashew nuts. Haven’t had a real meal as yet.
Hope my buddies all have a great day. It is bound to be better than mine!

Not feeling too great this morning. Had a disturbed night. Because the mesh used to repair my hernia is lying against the bowel then the state of the tide affects how much discomfort I feel. Today I feel full of wind so the discomfort is considerable. I am avoiding taking Tramadol but take regular Co-codamol.
I have been experiencing loss of appetite, so decided to use it to my advantage, and am aiming for a fast today. Madge is back to work this morning so I am left to my own devices. I may even go back to bed for a spell.
It is a frosty, dry, sunny day here. The sort of day that looks great from the comfort of home but would be rather chilly if out in it. It is my intention to keep warm and comfortable and not do a great deal!

Another good nights sleep. I feel really sore this morning. Had some cereal for breakfast, but I didn't really enjoy it and struggled to finish it. No bad thing.
