Started my keto journey July 16 with a gradual decrease in carbs. The hardest part has been cutting out beer, which I admit to over-indulging in at least 5 times since I began.

I'm currently on day 4 of a fat fast: 1100 or less calories a day, 80-85% fat, 7-15% protein and 20 g or less carbs. The scale hasn't moved much this week, but I blame it on lack of BM.

Mom lives with me and makes dinner most nights. For once, I can eat what she cooks (with a few modifications). Steak fajitas minus the tortilla, chicken noodle soup with cauliflower instead of pasta in mine, beef stroganoff- just the sauce. Tonight was leftover night, so I made guacamole with avocado oil and cucumber slices!

One more day of fat fasting and then time to add some more protein back in!!! Eggs and bacon for breakfast this weekend!
