12-8-2014 chaotic day, but a good day, nonetheless. Weighing in at 259.1 . I'm telling myself that I showed no loss because I weighed with jeans on and the morning before I was wearing shorts. Tomorrow morning, I may get plumb crazy and weigh without a stitch on. I've done well today. I had a junior breakfast burrito and coffee from Sonic. Lunch was cottage cheese and tomato. Supper was a bowl of blackeyed peas and 6oz of porkchop. Rob made popcorn around tv time and we had a quiet evening. Our afternoon tutoring session was wild...too close to Christmas for the kids to be able to study.

12-5-2014 7AM weighed in...259.1 you'd think that, with as much blood pressure meds as I take, I wouldn't go through these water-weight swings. That's got to be the reason I swing as much as 5 lbs in a week. That's why I weigh daily...If I only weighed once a week and it happened to be the highest day of the cycle, well... The soggy weather doesn't do anything to brighten up my day. I don't mind precipitation, but every day? Welcome to the Sunny East Tennessee. I guess if we are going to be blessed with such a beaytiful place to live, we have to tolerate a little moisture.

!2-4-2014 7AM ffsbs- 156 weighed in at 261.4. This game isn't any fun. I think I'll pick up my toys and go home! My calorie total for the day has been consistently under 2000 cal. And if this holds on like it has in the past, I'll gain to 265 and hold. Other than my weight gain, it's been a good week. We've completed another week at the tutoring center. Rob and I run a non-profit tutoring center for local kids who need help with homework. Non-profit, non-pay, all-free. My work it mostly writing grant proposals and getting contributions from corporations to pay for our school to stay open. Keeps me busy.

12-3-2014 weighed in at 260! That's more than I weighed on day 1. And now today I'm grazing everytime I get near my kitchen. 2 cups of coffee, and a regular breakfast burrito from Sonic for breakfast, and another one for lunch, (I had a bogo coupon from Sonic) finishing lunch off with a cup of pinto bean/ ham soup and a diet Mtn Dew. I could live on soups. I think I'll start keeping some soup available every day.

12-2-2014 Weighed in at 256.6. I'm so pleased, but I've done this before. Lost 5 or more pounds and then...Boom, it's back. Then the next week it starts all over again. Rob and I went to Sonic Drive-in for lunch, and I was very disappointed. A small order of fries, they were hot and wonderful. But that grilled chicken on ciobatta bread was so disappointing. The chicken was like jerky, but the flavor was good. Rob ate 1/2 of my sandwich and some of my fries while they were re-doing his charred burger. For supper, I had a scrawny little Reuben, and followed with 1/2 cup cottage cheese and pineapple chunks. Charred burgers are not usual for our Sonic, It's always been good. That's one reason we love our Chinese Buffet, the food is good. We just have to cut our portions. I won't cut out any food I love because that's the surest way to cause my diet to fail. I'm going to cut most of the high cal stuff into maybe 1/4. But our main purpose in going is the salad my husband loves, and I love the way they stir fry broccoli, green beans, calamari, shrimp as well as their barbeque ribs and fish. I love egg drop soup, wonton soup, but mostly we are going every Sunday for the clams steamed in a garlic-ginger broth. I would go just for them. The Kimchee isn't bad either. I've had trouble eating salads since my surgery and I love .lettuce. I forgot to mention I can by-pass the sweets to eat fruit.
