Started taking Cymbalta on March 4th for anxiety. I worry to much about my childs grades. He's a straight a advanced student that has made his first B on his report card in 3 years and also made an "F" on an English language test. This stresses me out to no end. We even studied the words but they were the wrong words. He was being his ususal self and did not pay attention in class. That's the reason that I stress ate one day last week (those two rolls and a piece of peanut butter toast). But this Cymbalta has made me completely lose my appetite. I've lost almost 4 pounds in the last three days. The only thing that I've really eaten has been a couple of Atkins protein bars and right now I'm eating a piece of peanut butter toast. That's all I've eaten today. I have gotten my water in. Oh yeah - I've had to lay off the caffeine. I went for a cardiology work up on Thursday (check up just to make sure that the anxiety was really not heart stuff) and the doctor told me to lay off my 7 or 8 cups a day. I just like coffee. So, I've switched to one cup of regular in the mornings and then the rest of the day is decaf. Yep, I know there is still some caffeine in the decaf, but it's better than what I was drinking before. I'm still getting 32 oz of water in when I get up in the morning and then 32 oz when I get home in the evening. Everything in between is just a bonus. My family and I have started walking for about 30 minutes each night and that's been real pleasant instead of coming straight home after work and starting supper. It also has taken the edge off any hunger that I may have had when I got home and given us a little quality family time with the dog too!

I actually stress ate last night. For dinner I had two homemade yeast rolls and two pieces of peanut butter toast! It made me feel yucky! I'm back on track today and feel much better!!!!

For breakfast this morning I scrambled myself two eggs and fried two pieces of bacon. Guess who came to breakfast??!!! My golden retriever, GG....I got to eat 2 bites of my eggs and 1/2 piece of bacon. She BEGGED!!!!! I taught her how to speak right before Thanksgiving and now she will NOT shut up!!! lol!!! She's so funny.
