Wow, so I totally misread the nutrition label on that popcorn...didn't see that a whole serving was over 11 cups, I just kinda assumed that since they listed the unpopped/popped ratio as 1 cup that the serving size was 1 cup and since 1 cup (and in my head 1 serving) had 30 calories, and 1 bag had 2.5 servings, I foolishly thought I could have the whole bag for like 80 cal...that sucks.

I can't believe it, I'm totally snowed in! My neighbour and I spent over an hour shovelling the driveway, scraping ice off the windshield and sweeping at least 2 ft of snow off my car (ah, winters in PA, where a broom is required driving equipment:))! Alas, our efforts were all for naught as I still can't get the car out and I'm thoroughly stuck in the parking lot of our building.
Since we can't leave the house, we decided to drink and watch movies. I kinda guessed at how much alcohol I drank, since I kinda just poured it into the glass:)

So my first month of dieting has come and gone. I've had more than a few of what I've termed "Off The Record Responsible Days" when it's not feasible to actually record what I eat (holiday parties, restaurants, etc, etc) but I try to remain somewhat responsible (only 1 trip to the dessert table at the holiday party, no appetizers or desserts at the restaurants, etc, etc)
My goal was to stay under 2100 calories every day for all of Jan. It didn't work 100% of the time, but I'm proud to say that almost every day I burned off more than I ate. My new goal for Feb is to stay below 2000. Again, it might not happen 100% of the time, but I'm already doing better than I was before I started all this.
