I know my triggers, and I am staying away from the Girl Scouts Thin Mints. I used to buy 4-5 boxes and eat a sleeve at a time. I know I can't have only one, so I'll have none. Funny how only certain foods do that. I can have one McDonald's French Fry but not one Thin Mint. Another trigger is Dunkin Donuts. I just stay away. Otherwise, managing sweets is getting easier with time. Now I gotta manage those carbs !! Looking forward to my Curves consultation on Wed :)

I'll take it....still experimenting with the fats and carbs, and still carb heavy. Still too hungry late in the evening. GOT to get more active. Going to visit Curves next Wednesday to see if I want to join again (see my journal for that discussion), I'm still leaning that way above everything else I've considered. On to the next week :)

Question - if you are on a good healthy eating plan and have cut out a lot of junk from your food library to begin with, what do you give up for Lent? ;)

Geez....don't go to a meeting directly after work on an empty stomach and fall for the chicken salad sandwich being served. Bad planning....big mistake.....lesson learned..... LOL. Oh, well !!!! Tomorrow is a new day !!! :)

Still trying to decide what my best "gym" option is going to be, and my thoughts keep returning to the days I was a member of Curves (2004-2005). I did really well there, but did not change my eating habits at the same time - it was all exercise three times a week. Lost 35 pounds; then I quit going a few months before the facility in my town closed. Of course, I gained it all back (this was 2006) and then some. There is a facility only 7 miles from home and it's right on the way home from work. $39.00 a month (add that to my $42.95 a month for WW, starts getting pricey). BUT if I get to and stay at Lifetime on my WW, it will then be FREE as long as I maintain the goal weight (that's 38 pounds away) and I know working out again PLUS the right eating habits will get me there eventually. Any gym is going to cost me; I like the treadmill at another facility but I can walk without one. I like the equipment at Curves. I don't need shower facilities. I can do aerobics at home too, live stream on the TV or a video (the gym offered classes at an extra charge).
Anyone else out there going to Curves?
.
Thanks, !!!!
