I guess I'll be restarting C25K. I had made it to week 2 but with everything that went on I didn't exercise for a month and I gained about 10 pounds. They have some fancy new treadmills at the school gym that show your heart rate on a graph thingy. I think this will help me keep it from getting too high and ending up with a migraine. I stopped running when it got to 180, in other words. So now I can't even do the first week of C25K. At least I did something though. I guess it is best for me to just take it slow.

I think I'll call today a success since I ate about 400 fewer calories than yesterday. Slowly getting back into the swing of things. Honestly, I was stalled for such a long time before that I think it is good to keep my calories higher for as long as I can keep losing weight. I will just have to accept the higher "starting" number.

I ate over 2600 calories yesterday. It's amazing how things can get out of control when you pay absolutely no attention. My aim is to eat less today. Fortunately it looks like I have lost some water weight.

Well hello everyone. I am back, hopefully for good now. I have had quite the month. Long story short, my mother was hospitalized for three weeks and passed away last Wednesday. I am still dealing with that, of course. I put on quite a bit of weight as y'all can see, and I am am ready to deal with that too. My mother was only 53 years old and she was in poor health due to smoking. I am almost 30 and obese and I don't want my life cut short because of my poor health choices. So here I am (again). Wish me luck!
