i feel great this week,, the freezing cold doesn't bother me anymore,, i exercised today for about an hour and 30 mins LOVED every minute of it,, my aim for this week is to lose 2 kgs, i'm doing everything exercising, drinking 4 L of water daily, and increased my calorie intake, eating less than 20 g of carbs ,, so *fingers crossed* :)

i woke up today and i felt like i couldn't get up,, i know i'm not sick,, but my body was aching everywhere especially around my hips and thighs,,, i felt soo light headed ,, and i thought to myself maybe i'm losing fat and i felt happy about it :D ,, so i got up and weighed my self and i couldn't believe it i lost a considerably good amount of weight i was happy about that but i'm still worried about the pain i'm feeling right now,, feels like i have invisible bruises, i can feel the pain but i can't see them.. did anyone experience this before?? is it a sign that i'm losing fat??? oh and one more thing are we allowed sugar free energy drinks on atkins???

i never got it when i read in the ATKINS book that when you begin atkins you will need a diet buddy,,, until i joined Fat Secret,, to be completely honest i know i would have given up not long after i started because i'm a very moody person and negative too sometimes. but here i get to share EVERYTHING !! and i always find people here that share thier experiences with me when i thought i was alone in it,, my personality changed completely i must say.. i'm calmer, happier, motivated,,, and positive (still on the way to being completely positive). i no longer think of atkins as a diet i think of it as going back to our nature and eating healthy foods away from junk full of sugar food. I love it!!!

NO MORE COUNTING CALORIES !!!
i've read the book so long ago i totally forgot the most imporatant thing " on Atkins you will no longer count calories!!!" so i'm not going to.. i know i'm not over the board and Dr. Atkins said himself that it is not a low calorie diet, it is just that people who are on it have thier appetite deminish so they don't eat as much and they lose weight faster while they are full and satisfied with the food (WHICH I AM) even if i'm not eating as much as 1200 ,,, however i think in the past few days i got used to the idea of eating this many calories and i will continue to do so,, but i'm not gonna count calories anymore,, i'm going to count carbs and eat whenever i'm hungry,, i totally trust Dr. Atkins and i think he knew exactly what each one following the diet will feel, when you are hungry eat !!! but keep the limit under 20 g of net carbs :D
i'm no longer confused about this,,,, thank god i read my favourite parts of the book again.... i felt so confused and lost for the past 2 days....

so,,, is it okay to stay on the amount of calories i'm consuming now?? will change happen soon or it will take longer than a week to notice the weight loss?? because this saturday i'm hoping to see weight loss on the scale even if just a little bit... for some reason and despite the weight gain i had,, i feel like i finally got the hang of it, and i know the basic things that i need to do to lose weight which is a good thing for me ...
although i'm still trying to have 3 meals daily, but it is a bit hard considering my university course schedule in which i have no breakfast because i sleep all morning , i eat lunch half an hour before my class,, and later right away to the gym and by the time i come back i'm too tired to eat anything, and i'm an all nighter kinda girl so i get hungry of course later at night but i know it is not good to eat after 9 pm because body tends to store fat and i don't want that,, so i keep drinking water all night. but i do manage to eat 20 g of net carbs, and i recently began to eat 1200 calories so i'm gonna try to have three meals daily (but does this really help with weight loss?)
