Look at that, dropped some weight even eating some more of that donuts. That’s not exactly unexpected but I am sure I am not back in ketosis

That’s the price we pay for 2 donuts. 1kg up. I know it’s water weight. And I’ve been probably kicked out of ketosis. However it’s a huge win to eat 2 donuts and be satisfied. At the peak of my feeling sorry for myself I could have a dozen. 😊 IF for today: 19/5

Partial success. Decided to break my fast 66 hours in. Not because of hunger, and not because it was too difficult. But because I need to reassess my body’s electrolytes need. I have a “hunch” (read:certainty) my genetic disorder makes me need more water and sodium than most people and the symptoms were not pleasant albeit light. The fact I was craving read meat supports my theory.

I will try again in 2 or 3 weeks; whenever life allows me with this weird schedule. Then, I will attempt a different electrolyte replacement strategy.

I want to do it right. Safe is right.

Oh boy was that steak tasty!!

Weekly average: 84.5 -1.3kg below the expected when I started this journey. 84 average next Monday would be awesome

42h into this tentative 7-day fast. Feeling full of energy. Beware of boredom as it is the greatest enemy of willpower.

I kind of want to conquer mastery over my impulses. Not to eliminate them - I love lust after all - but to disassociate negative feelings from not fulfilling my desires immediately.

27h into my fast. That’s a mind game. I am not actually hungry, but boy I DO like to eat… I really WANT something salty now, even though I took enough electrolytes(which aren’t really needed yet tbh). It sends chills through my spine to think about not enjoying tasty stuff for a few days. Can I conquer myself? Or am I too much of an hedonist for this?
