Decided to change to weight watchers. I was doing Atkins, which worked wonderfully in the past--and I kept it off for a few years! But, I have no will power sticking to the diet with a non-Atkins boyfriend. I ended up at 200.5 again. So, I joined WW again--did it years ago, when my son was younger--it works. It's even easier now! I even get desert! So, here I go!

Dang, not only did I stick exactly to the food and had about 1100 calories, I was also working on the house nearly 10 hours! (Well, 8 if you take away breaks.) But I GAINED a pound!

Yay! Lost one pound today. Unfortunately I cannot get into full ketosis. I'm at "moderate." I don't know why. I don't eat anything that is not on the list for induction. Guess I'll read the book to see why. Hopefully, I'll find an answer. If not, go to the forum. Someone should have an idea.
OK. Went to the Atkin's site where I asked my question. The resounding response was that there is no full ketosis--you're either in or not. And (!) when you dring a bunch of water it deletes the ketones, so you come up showing lighter. So....now I feel better.
Walked Barney for an hour, poor little dog, he's exhausted--as am I. Played and Xbox game for an hour. It was only going to be for 1/2 hour, but I had to expand the time due to the fact that I needed some breaks for breath!
