Whew, what a last couple of weeks, I am feeling much better.. go back to the Dr. on Tuesday to make sure I am over my intestinal infection. Then on the 11th, I have the colonoscopy, then hopefully that will come back o.k., and I have to start my next round of antibiotics for 14 days for the bacterial infection in my stomach. They are going to put me on Flagyl and Tetracycline for my bacterial infection in my stomach. I am hoping it will treat me better than the last one. Especially with Valentine's Day coming up and my birthday on the 2oth!!! Cheers to a new week and feeling better!!!

I actually just got back from the Dr., they said I now have an intestinal infection because of the antibiotics I had for my stomach stirred up something and changed the bacteria....whatever that means really. I do know that I got the hook up, he gave me pain med, nausea med, and a new antibiotic, Flagyl, for my intestinal bacteria now. Which I asked if it would help my stomach infection and he said no, unfortunately not. I needed to get this one under control and calmed down before I started a different antibiotic for my stomach, which btw, I am not taking the same stuff as last time, no way! Geez! Anyway, just took all my meds and thinking about laying down and hopefully get some sleep for once! Even though it is 11am! Oh well, I'll take sleep when I can get it!

Well, the dr. finally took me off the meds, he wasn't sure if I was having an allergic reaction to the antibiotics or was getting the flu. It's almost been 24 hours since my last dose and my symptoms are getting a little bit better, but still have back ache, nauseau, and am not hungry. But the lightheadedness, or off balance feeling has pretty much been subsided and my headache is pretty much gone...so I guess I will wait to see what the 24 hours holds...you never know with me!

o.k., so so much has happened to me this last week. I had that EGD done, it went o.k., they took some biopsies, and ended up coming back saying I had a bacterial infection in my stomach...now they have put me on 2500 mg of antibiotics per day for 14 days! I am on day 2 of antibiotics, and can tell you it is not fun. I have been feeling sooo nauseaus and sick to my stomach, absolutely no appetite, been forcing myself to eat some toast and maybe an apple, it totally sucks! Now I have to go in for a colonoscopy next month, not till Feb. 23rd, which really sucks cause I am a nervous wreck about it, why does it have to be so far out, darn it! Of course right now I'm thinking the worst about the outcome, my mind is racing out of control and with this medicine I'm taking makes it worse. I need to keep saying to myself, calm, cool, collective! I need to learn a little phrase to say to myself each time I catch myself thinking bad thoughts!! I hope the next couple of days will get better!
