This is my husband in his early twenties when he was in the Navy. I would like to give honor to him today, to my dad, and to all the other military personnel that have laid their lives down and fought for us and our country. I would also like to include all the doctors and nurses and medical staff that have been there through this Coronavirus and also have laid their lives down for us. A big thank you to all of them. God bless them and God bless America!

I cannot emphasize this enough for good health. Your immune system starts in your gut. Every health issue and disease comes from poor digestion. We eat fermented foods everyday to give us good bacteria all throughout our microbiome. This Giardiniera is so delicious. If you want the recipe you can get it on YouTube. Just search for bon appetit and then search for the food. Brad will walk you through it. Bon appetit is a great show to watch.

Well today I'm down one pound. I knew I was holding a lot of water from the salt I had eaten. I was running to the bathroom all day yesterday and all night. Probably the same today since my ankles were so big last night. When I keep my calories between 900 and 1000 it takes me one week to lose one pound. Everyday is a couple ounces which I don't always log. Sometimes I just wait out the week and put down a pound. It is a lot of work just to lose 1 pound. Jesus help me.
