Good morning!
Today I did something crazy. I walked across the street from my job, and signed up for a gym membership. I've never had the courage to do that alone. I mean, I've always felt out of place, the fat girl amongst a bunch of fit ones... like being a bran muffin in a pastry case.
The gym manager was very encouraging and positive, every journey starts with a single step.
So Sunday I'm going to go in and work out for the first time. Even if it's only on the treadmill for a while, it's half about getting out of my own head. Maybe I'll work up the confidence to go to one of their group classes sometime.
