We are in the area hit by the ice storms last week. Our power was restored last night at 6:00 pm. I have been huddled next to a woodburner with a candle for a week just trying to survive. Diet and exercise have not been happening. I hope to make a fresh start soon when life begins to return to normal. I hope you all have been warm and safe. I have not weighed for a week either.

Digging out from under the snow. I made it out today but was snowed in yesterday. My significant other was digging all afternoon to get the driveway cleared. My weight is holding steady. Everything is going well. Not really anything happening except the weather.
We aren't main stream as my partner says! We live in a little log cabin out in the woods. Our driveway is about 1/3 of a mile long. It takes a lot of digging when we get a deep snow! He got his exercise and his reward is a new snow shovel. He broke his!

I moved to Phase 2 yesterday and all is well. I am down another pound to 220. I had black coffee and a low carb whole wheat pita bread stuffed with 2 boiled eggs and a little mayo for breakfast. I got busy and forgot to eat my AM snack. I had low carb chili with a spoonful of low fat sour cream and some grated 2% cheese on top and sugar free lemonade for lunch. My PM snack was a single serve package of Kraft South beach energy mix and for dinner I had a big salad with shrimp on top and italian dressing. For dessert I had a medium apple and a Tablespoon of sugar free peanut butter. Unfortunately I am only human and not perfect like some people. I am off this weekend and won't be back on the computer until Monday. I hope you all have a nice weekend and STAY WARM. It is cold here!

I have the book and have read it several times. I believe I understand the program. I keep a food diary on paper at home. My Dr. has never expressed an interest in it. All he wants to see is the record of my blood pressure. I don't record a food diary here because I have very limited time to use the computer at work. I don't have a computer of my own. So far so good. I feel great. No cravings and usually no hunger. Weight stable at 221.5. The weight lifting is beginning to pay off my clothes fit differently and I fell stronger, just moving around through my day is easier.
