Exercise: The FIRM-CO, Winsor Pilates-CardioSculpt(CS) & Burn&Firm(BF)

The hard floor of my living room where I do exercise is hurting my back. It didn't hurt me before, but it does lately. It may because 1)the fat cushion on my back got thinner, or 2)my core muscle got stronger so my back is making more curve, therefore my vertebrae hit hard floor that hurts my back. I want to buy a yoga mat (or two to layer them), but no store around here has it. Since it's so close to our moving day, I'm not sure if I want to order on the Internet. I used a towel a couple of times, but it's thin and not so comfortable. If I really want to get it from online, I have to do it quick...

ETA-I didn't know there is also "<a href="http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_8?url=search-alias%3Dsporting&field-keywords=pilates+mat&sprefix=pilates+">pilates mat</a>". It may work better than a yoga mat since what I do is mainly pilates and stretch movements. ...1 hour later... I just ordered Scott Pilates mat & DVD set. They should be delivered right before we move out from here. I need to make sure to go Post Office to hold our mail, just in case.

12 days before packing. I got some more storage totes to organize stuffs, mainly my husband's. He has "stuffs" more than me; he has old magazines, old newspapers, old personal records and correspondences, CDs, VHSs, games, and electronic gadgets more than me. Things I have more than him are clothes and books. I really hope he'll organize his stuffs and throw away some (or most) of very old and unnecessary things after this PCS. I can say Organizing these household goods for moving is really good activities/exercise for me, so it's not too bad. Think positive, right?

I got an audio-book of "Under the Dome" by Stephen King. It is on a device called <a http://playaway.com/about-playaway/>Playaway</a> manufactured by Findaway World. It's kinda cool. I'm going to listen my audio-book while I'm organizing and cleaning around rooms.

I have a pilates mat and got it at tj maxx I also see them at walmart and target, not sure where you live, but since you already ordered it, great! Now if you still are goin gto have hard floors when you move, you will need a small rug or even folded blanket to cushion under the mat to protect your back. I got very frustrated when I just could NOT do the rolls ups, the seal, and the other moves where you are balancing on your tail bones lol! Then I realized I didn't have enough cushion! Don't make it too soft though, but you gotta have it soft enough. I take an afghan and fold it in half and I also have a thin rug so I have hardwood floors, thin rug, afghan folded in half, THEN pilates mat! Doing the pilates really should help you lose the weight in the midsection you were talking about. I personally though would do about 100 russian twists a day with a ball or even a weight (I use a 10 pound weight). You can find youtube videos online to show you how to do them.

Russian twists! It looks interesting, and I may try it. I don't think I can do 100 though. You have some strong core! My hip problem caused another problem on my back (bad alignment), so I'll see if my back can handle this move. I am not sure if I want to use blanket under my sweaty back, so I may have to use towels till the pilates mat arrives. I live in the place called The Southernmost Point in the U.S. where is very close to Cuba. I cannot see Cuba from my apartment though:p There is only one way in and one way out, and there are very few choices to consumers for everything. It's so inconvenient to live here unless you're rich, in my opinion. That's another reason I'm looking forward to move out from here!
