I'm trying not to throw the towel in. I have tried so hard, counting every mouthful of food to the sum 1600 calories a day. I was initially eating 1200, but felt that was to low. My body entered the stubborn state of "Fight or Flight" and because I'm a type2 insulin dependent, 68 year old woman, the reality I know is a terribly slow weight loss. Started out very encouraged I had lost nearly 11 lbs. Began walking with my neighbor every day. I know all about muscles adding weight, but I don't think it's that. question: if you eat a whole large cauliflower 1 tbsp. butter, sprinkle parmesan cheese. plus 4oz. protein. & 15 gram of carbohydrates. since so many vegetables hardly have any calories I feel you should be able to eat unlimited amounts. I would appreciate any help with suggestions. I'm also a inventive cook for cutting calories.
