Going away this weekend for a basketball tournament on the Cape with my daughters. They are alot of fun to watch and they are SO excited to go because we'll be staying at a hotel with all the other girls on the team. But, for me, it's tough to stay on the diet because alot of the meals will have to be at restaurants. I'm going to bring a cooler and put in lots of water, maybe some tuna fish and cheese..... But, I think my weight loss will come to a grinding halt (like every weekend). I hope they have a workout gym!! Anyone have any suggestions for good Atkins-type food that can be stored at room temp (I'm doing Induction at this time).

umm why dont you just do a little shopping there... i dont really know if u'll have a fridge and stove in the room.. but thats hard

When I go out for lunch meetings or to dinner with my family, I always order a burger and take it off the bun or a steak or chicken breast...depending on what type of place it is of course. If anything, I can get a salad if the other options aren't there. Good Luck!

I used to go away with my son for hockey. This will be really hard. So I'm just going to wish you luck. Maybe their is another person who dosn't want to eat to pal around with.
