I have been alternating between cardio and weight training each day, and last night was my first time to do lower body weight training... what a terrible experience! My knees and back are so inadequate for these types of exercises - my joints and back were utterly traumatized today. To make matters worse, I only have dumbbells (Select Tech), and I can only go so long with certain exercises before hand/finger fatigue becomes far more difficult than the actual exercise I'm trying to do. I'm not sure exactly how to solve this besides going out to buy new equipment or join a gym - neither is very realistic right now. As far as my joint & back issues... anyone have any good remedies for that?
