Cindaian's Journal, 15 Oct 12

I've now had my grandkids living with me for the last 3 weeks & 5 days. I dropped 5 pounds like it was NOTHING after they arrived!! They are now 5 months & barely 2 years. MY kids are 10 months & 3 yrs 10 months. 4 kids under the age of 4 with 2 under the age of 1?!?!! Some days I'm about to LOSE MY MIND along with the weight!

I started at 202 on Dec 5 when my daughter was born. I'm now down under the 150 mark. I was hoping to be here by the end of the YEAR. I'm EXTATIC that I've achieved this stage so much sooner than planned. Maybe now I can get down under 145 by the end of the year. I've been trying to keep the goal EXTREMELY realistic. For a long time I was averaging 1 pound per week. The closer I get to my goal, the slower the weight comes off. I've been down around the 1/2 pound per week average for a while now. Still VERY HAPPY with that. There are 11 weeks left in the year. If I keep after eating right, staying dairy-free (for nursing purposes for my daughter), & keeping active with a house full of FOUR kids all of the sudden; I don't see why I shouldn't reach that goal!
Before I met my husband (almost 8 years ago), I was STEADILY at 136 (& was unhappy that I'd gotten that heavy at THAT time). NOW, I'd be THRILLED to be 136 again! After being with my husband only a short 5 months, I'd already packed on a solid 8 pounds & slowly put on another 3-5 over the following 18 months. Doesn't SOUND like much but NONE of my clothes fit anymore at that point. I struggled HARD to lose 5 pounds before our wedding & gained it back plus 2 MORE on our honeymoon!! At least I'm back down to THIS weight area now. I was at 147 when I got pregnant with our 1st child. I'm only a couple pounds away from being there again!!
67.8 kg Lost so far: 8.4 kg.    Still to go: 4.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 0.4 kg a Week
