In an effort to making cooking, grocery shopping, and mealtimes easier for the family and less stressful for me, I've decided to change my carb level to approximately 45 per day. If I don't lose any weight, I will decrease that amount.

Doing well so far! My goal is to get below 160 lbs. before moving to Phase 2. I haven't been less than 160 lbs in at least six years, so that will be a great psychological boost.

Yesterday was a long day, and I wasn't very hungry. My calorie intake ended up being a lot lower than usual, and my carbs were pretty low, as well. That did result in breaking through and losing a pound. My body seems to have a hard time getting past the 162-lb. mark, so I'm glad to be at 161 lbs. Let's hope I can get into the 150s in the next few days! Excited!

Realized yesterday that although my carbs were in range, I was taking in too many calories. Keeping track yesterday of the food I ate kept me from eating too much.

Oh, how depressing to log onto this website after over a year and see my current weight hasn't changed! Although it has; it has gone up, and only recently come back down. I'm back on Atkins. We'll see how it goes!
