31 points, day 29 no nighttime snacking, 4th day of completely tracking. Today was an awesome day!! Took the boys to Grandmom's house for breakfast. She made Dutch apple strudel. Super wholesome food - all homemade and simple ingredients. Sugar and butter were there but not in excess. My extremely picky boys loved it - which is a major success, plus she had berries, mango, scrambled eggs and she found a kit at raleys to make honeybaked ham. My kids loved it. Then we did 3 egg hunts. We all had fun. Did a craft. The boys made obnoxious jokes (drawings) which will become plates. Then there was a rock and mineral show nearby. We had a blast. My 12 year old "won" an auction item consisting of an enormous hunk of glass, because your life isn't complete without that! It probably weighs 15 lbs!! Round it out with the philosophical questions from my ten year old, "if you met yourself, would you like him?" It makes a perfect day.

28 days of no night time snacking. 27 point total for the day. No complaints. I didn't feel well though. Dizzy and tired, mild head ache in the morning. I'm thinking its dehydration because yesterday I did the sauna at my gym and forgot to bring water. I must have gotten way behind on water. Also my boys kept me up late, and I was already low on sleep. I Finally feel better now at 11 pm. So i'm thinking it took all day to get caught up on the water. Bought candy for Easter. Not sure if I'll have any tomorrow. I'm thinking it would be easier if I have none. I may put some pieces in a ziplock and allow myself have it Monday and give the rest to my kids. The last time i did this it worked like a charm. I didn't feel deprived because I was going to eat the treat the next day. By some miracle, the next day I didn't want it anymore.

36 point day. So I should have no change in weight. Bugger! The visit to my in laws and the ginger beer and vodka put me over. That one drink was 8 pts ,so it put me over 30 and was the difference between losing weight vs not. Oh well -another day tomorrow.!! Try again to get back to 30. It's a process.

Yesterday I tracked everything (after eating it sometimes) and had a learnable moment - the werthers sugar free caramels are not worth the points! I thought they'd be about 2 - 3 points. After checking the label they were 6. So my decision to eat the werthers put me to a total of 34. Overall my day was still successful - 34 is maintenance but if I had skipped them I would be losing weight and they were not that awesome. So I obviously can't count yesterday as a snack free night...which is fine and I still have 16 points left this week for desserts. Mostly I see how easy it is to reverse my good work at night. So back to it!! Back to my ban on nighttime snacking.
Also with the new weightwatchers points my fav salad at smashburger went up from 7 to 15. I still love that salad so I'm going to keep ordering it when I take my boys there.

Yea, I did 27 days (not straight days but pretty close) of no snacking at night! It was reversing all my hard work, and now I feel free of that dreaded need. It's a huge relief.. But It is so easy to break the streak. I need to protect this new behavior with some strategy. I'm on WW, so I count points. I'm thinking:
I should allow up to 2 desserts a week so I don't feel deprived. + 10 pts i already use for wine or beer a week and that leaves 18 a week for dessert.
I need a positive non- food treat to keep me happy and calm. Aside from tea and my book, I'll throw in a biggie - I've always wanted to try an exfoliation at the spa if it's not too pricy.
Lastly I could do better at tracking 100% a day. I usually flake out after lunch, so if I track 3 of 7 days, I think I'll progress this week.
I'm wondering what else I can change to get these last couple of lbs off. I'm still not that great at tracking a full day. I tend to forget about it at night. If I can track 100% of my eating for
