Ha! Yesterday's weigh in was on full tummy! Today's weigh in, first thing in the morning, actually reflects the work I've done! Much better.

Losing 10.2 kg a Week

I woke up much earlier this morning than I normally do. I was also displeased to find that my foot is still bothering me. But we opted for IHOP for breakfast, instead of my normal Sunday morning Krispy Kreme (just one!) where I found an acceptable healthy option for me. I even ate eggs... er, rather, egg substitute. Close enough.
I did some shopping, too... registered for baby stuff before church (still waiting for the call for a match on adoption) and then bought food after lunch & church.
Still, I feel really good over all. I'm going to go weigh and see how I'm doing... see if the scale shows any loss. Might keep the kitty from hanging on me, at least. *chuckle*

I've got to believe this is muscle weight. Or lunch. I'll weigh first thing in the morning. *grumble mumble*

Gaining 1.6 kg a Week
20 March 2010
I did 10 minutes of walking as hard and fast as I could (about as hard and fast as I did yesterday) in my 3 foot hallway here this evening... back and forth. I had to walk around the dogs, and in the last minute, my foot hurt enough that I was slowing down significantly, but it was SOMETHING.
I'll have to clean up a bit and re-wrap my foot, but it's a small price to pay. And as long as I don't hurt more tomorrow, then I'll try again tomorrow. If I do hurt more tomorrow, then it's total RICE and a trip to the doc to make sure I've not done something more serious, and how to work back onto it.

Went to one of my favorite local joints for a rare breakfast this morning (they're a lunch & dinner place, but every so often they do breakfast as a fundraiser for different local organizations; this morning was one of the church's children's department, raising money for Haiti).
As a rule, I dislike breakfast foods that aren't utter carbfests. My mom ruined cereal for me; they all sog so fast that I find them repulsive. I can handle cocoa puffs and cheerios, but that's it, and they have to be THAT brand, and I have to eat them RIGHT after I pour the milk on. I LOVE Oatmeal, but I want it plain; let me flavor it myself... cinnamon, splenda, and perhaps some nuts. I only eat scrambled eggs, and only rarely... I can occasionally eat hardboiled eggs too, but I tend to have a texture issue with them. Bleh. Bacon tends to be salty and fatty, sausage can be a little spicy, and ham can be salty and fatty. I find stuff I like... but it's hard to find quick and easy breakfast foods. Pancakes, French toast, waffles, etc, all are delicious, but so carb heavy. And Hashbrowns! I LOVE hashbrowns!
So I had to find something this morning that would work without being too bad, and I chose their breakfast burrito: ham, crispy bacon, egg, and cheese. And then it came out and it was bigger than I expected, so I was really worried about how many calories it would be. Since this is a local place, they don't have their nutrition info posted anywhere. I went up after I finished and asked if they could tell me how much of each thing was in the burrito... and was pleasantly surprised to find that it hadn't been nearly as bad as I feared!
It's not something I'd eat often, but it was still yummy. I ate breakfast, and it wasn't carb-loaded or ooky!
