Well...Yesterday I went over on my DRI of calories a little bit but on a good note, I was still below the 20g of carbs so I am happy with that because sometimes it is very hard to keep the carbs down! I am staying on induction for a while longer as long as it isn't bothering me to do so.

Going to stay with my sister (known on here as Sovilla)this Friday night and Saturday. I am excited not only to spend time with her but she is making me dinner. We are both doing Atkins and she has made a few recipes but I have not. I guess it is because I am skeptical of the taste, thinking I won't like them and get discouraged.
I can't wait to see what she is going to make!

OMG!!!!! Here I thought I was doing so good when I took my grandson out to breakfast after church...NOT!!! It was buffet and all I had were eggs and meat with a tiny bit of sausage gravy (no biscuit or bread)but I put a tiny bit of blueberry syrup in a cup to dip my syrup in (thought I deserved it after NO SUGAR for 2 full weeks) and lo and behold, I enter it on here and OUCH!!! Look how many carbs are in that tiny bit of syrup!!! Holy Cow! Never doin that again!!
I love this site. It sure does help you realize what's what and help you see your mistakes right away & stay on or get back on track.
***that syrup did tste pretty darn good though :-)
