I'm trying to keep a positive attitude. But tomorrow is weigh in and I'm not looking forward to it. I am truly stuck. I've been changing things up, trying the Jay Robb protein drink, trying to make sure I get enough calories and adding more fiber supplements. I'd be happier if I at least lost some more inches. I lost an initial 4 inches from my waist, then that's it. I'm sticking to BFC as I understand it. Maybe I'm missing something. I'm not sure what to do.
I'm going to take the dog for a walk and try to breathe in the sunshine.

OMG Something is wrong with our scale. Somehow it got moved and my husband and I suddenly weighed 2 lbs more. I guess our floor isn't level or something. I can move it around and my weight changes. So what do I really weigh? Would love to know I have an accurate reading. My daughter say I can come into the Veterinary office where she works and climb up on the table where they weigh the dogs. For now, I moved it so I weigh 160, which is where I think I'm stuck. I don't officially weigh in until Friday, so we'll see.
Does anyone know how long a plateau lasts; a week, a month, a year?

Only lost 1 lb this week. It's disappointing, but not surprising. I'm so anxious to get below that 160 mark. It's been a long time since I've weighed in the 150's. I've changed things up a bit and am trying to eat more. Yesterday, I actually went over a bit. So today, I'm trying to be more careful. Still haven't totally figured out dinner.
It's a new week for me, and a new beginning. I just need to keep my resolve and continue to move forward.

I just had an Aha! moment. I'm hoping processing my thoughts here will help me break the pattern. I think one of the big reasons I'm struggling right now is, I've been here before. Twenty lbs is where I've stopped every other time I've lost weight. So,if I stop now I'll probably end up back where I started. If I can get myself to keep going and reach my goal. I think I'm more likely to keep it off.
I've had a couple friends who are trying to be helpful, but are inadvertently hurtful. I've said that I wanted to wait until May to start trying on dresses for my daughter's wedding. (Her wedding is in July.) One friend suggested I start looking at what Oprah wears, so I could see what looks good on "Plus size women". I didn't plan on being a Plus-size for the wedding. I don't think people believe I can do this. Now that's shaken my confidence that I can.
Thank you, Roleba64, Fearisha, and Linmi21 for your encouragement. The sun is shining today, the snow is melting. I think I'm going to go out for a long walk. Then come home and find that picture to put on the refrigerator...
