I am officially down 10lbs!!! Woo Hoo! 10 more pounds and I'll be back at my pre-baby weight which I will be super excited to reach! I am thinking about still staying on the Atkins induction phase a little longer just to get another 5lbs off fast. Fast results is what keeps me motivated. Oh and also I'm about to have to go down a size in dress pants...YAY! And if I loose a little more weight I'll probably have to go down a size in jeans...super yay! :-D

Well, the weight was just falling off of me the first week; I was losing 1 pound per day, it was lovely! Now for week 2 I seem to only be losing a few ounces per day…boo Oh well, I know that’s the healthy rate to lose weight, but I was really like that pound a day weight loss! Since I’m doing Atkins and I’m still on phase 1 I figured the fast weight loss would have went on through the entire induction phase…perhaps I REALLY need to start eating my veggies and that will speed things up? I hope so, I’ll try that.

I am down 7lbs in 6 days time (weighed in yesterday) and I am now in the 180’s again and I am sooooo happy! I can tell that my pants are a bit loose in the waist area and I can tell my stomach is less fluffy. I will be absolutely ecstatic to hit 174 which is my pre-baby weight. My new goal is to break into the realm of the 170’s, once I reach that I believe I am going to go out and treat myself…not with food, but with a pedicure or something nice that will make me feel good. YAY…come on 170’s baby!!! :-D

So after logging all my food each day for the past 3 days I have noticed I have ended up consuming less and less calories each day. With that being said I’ve noticed that I have became less and less hungry each day as well. Now, today is my 4th day on the Atkins diet (phase 1) and it’s my lunch hour and I am not hungry…at all. I have absolutely no desire to eat anything. I read somewhere that missing a meal while on Atkins isn’t a terrible thing, but I am worried about potentially messing up my metabolism by skipping a meal. I think I still might go ahead and eat something small anyways though just in case. Aside from that little dilemma things have been going great. Still no horrible side effects or out of control cravings. I really think the Atkins bars are a huge help with my sweet tooth and my nagging desire to want to “chew” something with the consistency of bread/brownie like base. Other than that, nothing big is happening… I’m still happily content, which is awesome considering any other diet or way of eating has had me very irritable and deprived feeling with horrendous cravings. So I say, yay team Atkins!
