I needed a pick-me-up this afternoon so I walked down the street to Panera and ordered an Iced Mocha Latte and a chocolate chip cookie. SO... since I blew most of my calories on those 2 items, I'll need to do a really light dinner (~200 calories or less). Really need some kind of protein.

Almost 2 lbs gained since Monday and I'm back to where I started. What a huge bummer. I haven't felt particularly great this week (mostly due to AF) but I still made it to the gym Tues, Wed, and Thurs night. I was pretty good about sticking to my RDI but probably ate more sugar and salt than I should have. I am really hoping this is mostly water weight. I have been working hard, so this is a pretty big let-down.
I am going swimsuit shopping tonight since I have a weekend at the pool planned with my family. I don't yet feel comfortable in a bikini (which is all I own at the moment).
Well enough with the negativity... today's a new day, right? :)

I think my stomach is shrinking... does that actually happen?!? lol After only a few bites of the drunken noodles I ordered for lunch, I feel really full. I usually eat half and save the other half for lunch the following day, but I haven't even finished 1/4 of it. I think this is a small victory. :)

Had a great workout tonight (found my key card!)... it's amazing how I can get home from work, exhausted with a throbbing headache, then I go to the gym and feel wonderful afterwards. Really hoping it pays off on the scale Friday!

I'm bummed. After my weekend "off", I was so looking forward to hitting the gym last night. My husband and I got ready, drove all the way there, only to realize that my key card to get in has gone missing. How frustrating! Until I get a new card, I guess I will have to figure out a way to exercise at home or around the neighborhood. I would just hate to lose the momentum I have right now. :(
