Still stuck at 150. I don't think I'm eating enough calories to keep my body from thinking it's starving, but I'm not hungry. I eat my three meals plus a snack between and I don't have hunger pangs, so I would assume I'm OK, but I'm still stuck at 150. Will try to eat larger portions today to see if that helps. At least you can do that on low-carb eating plans!

Losing 1.6 kg a Week
27 November 2009
Well, I made it through Thanksgiving doing a pretty good job on the low-carb front. Had turkey (no dressing), green beans, cauliflower fau-tatoes, raspberries with whipped cream, and water. Had a bunch of each, but wasn't stuffed. Just ate slowly till I was pleasantly full. Son and hubby had stuffing and cranberry sauce along with biscuits, but I passed on those. And I'm still one pound heavier today. But I think I expected that, even with having done fairly low-carb. My carb intake was still twice what I've been consuming. My Ketostix were still OK this morning, but are down at the lower end of the color chart. I still feel good, though, and am happy that I was able to indulge in Thanksgiving foods and stay on my meal plan!

Gaining 4.8 kg a Week

It's Thanksgiving! I have a low-carb meal planned: turkey, green beans, cauliflower "mashed potatoes," and raspberries with whipped cream for dessert! Our son will eat the other "normal" stuff such as stuffing and pumpkin pie, but I'm doing so well I don't mind not having that!
