Day 8...and I remembered to eat lunch! lol. It was at 2 and tiny but something is better than nothing. I am worried I am not eating enough, I do not want my body to go into starvation mode. The weight loss book I bought recommends that your daily intake for calories should be your weight times 7. So at 215=1505kcal. Today was under by a bit, but I am honestly full. I am nervous for my weigh in on Sunday. It lets me start each week with a goal in mind, but I have to wait 4 more days to see if I have gained or lost any weight. I am unsure if that is a good or bad thing right now :)
Today is an optimistic day! I hope tomorrow is just as successful!

Made it to Day 7! So proud of myself. I normal do not make it this far. I still have a long ways to go to be healthy but I feel like I am slowly improving. I was not 100% for the food, that will need to change, but I am making sure I exercise daily. The next week I will continue to make my portion sizes reasonable (failed on that today, forgot lunch then pigged out on a 12" sub since I was famished by 6, still under calories but NOT a healthy way to do it). I think I need to plan out my meals a bit better. Mornings are not too bad as long as I wake up on time, when I oversleep I have to grab whatever I can eat while running to the bus stop to make sure I catch my bus on time. Lunches are terrible, which leads to terrible dinners. I do have good intentions to try and fix that by having meal replacement drinks for lunch...I just need to remember to TAKE a lunch break.
Anyway I hope everyone is staying warm and healthy! 9/12 people in my lab (so 75%) are sick with either a mild stomach flu or head cold. So stay healthy!

Day 6 was a very tiring day. For the life of me I couldn't sleep. Was so tired last night, went to bed ridiculously early for someone my age, woke up 3 hours later and spent the next 8 hours unable to sleep. Was a zombie today at school lol
And I messed up. I was too focused on my experiment and helping to get everyone else that came back from winter break started on their own experiments that I forgot to each lunch. That is my worst habit is missing lunch when there are people in the lab. There is always something to do. Goal for tomorrow is to actually eat lunch. Need to eat to lose and all that jazz.
So tired. Biked my 30 minutes not quite as fast as normal. Think I am going to head to bed and it is only 7 at night gah

Day 5...I have gained 0.4lbs...*sigh*
I was making my portion sizes smaller and starting to switch out the unhealthy food for the healthy food slowly...but I guess that was not drastic enough.
Next weigh in that number will go down! But...I think I need to go bike for awhile now. Feeling a little discouraged today. Hoping the exercise will make me feel a little better.
