I'm still here. Trying... sort of. I know I'm not exercising enough right now, but the demands on my time make it hard to really get it done. Still, its beautiful out right now, so I think I'm going to head down to the store and see if I can't get some things I need. I feeling like I'm running all the time, but I barely made it up the hill yesterday - running to catch up with a friend.

I bought a TV for the first time in my life... and its forced me to rearrange my living room (I live in a small 1 bedroom appt... so it doubles as my office/exercise space) and it means I now have a more space to work out and I can play my abs video too. Hopefully it doesn't mean I exercise less. My long term plan is to get a Wii, but I'm too busy right now... and the sales will be better later. I'm up and down. The last few days, I've felt less hungry. I'm going to make up a bunch of soup and salad today. I'm hoping this is a beginning of a downward trend. I'd like to lose about 10 lbs by Christmas. That would put me back at the edge of being overweight, rather than firmly in bad and on the edge of dangerous (or having no pants that fit - Shopping up here is challenging, my last attempt to buy jeans online left me with something comfortable but utterly unflattering). So, but I have lots of jeans that would fit me if I lost 10 lbs.... so somehow....

and I definitely need to get more water into me.... consistently... I usually drink coffee until lunch, and tea in the evening... and not much in between.

okay.. two goals.. and off I go to do something about them and the rest of the stress in my life.

Well, at least I'm not up. I'm not sure why I'm struggling to lose any weight and keep it off. I really really am eating very healthily, and I'm active (at least walking) almost (if not every) every day. We've done some challanging hikes, and I finally got back in the pool this morning and hope to finish the week doing that - the eating part could get trickier with my parents in town and then the exercise part too, may be affected by that and some road travel coming up, still - its a disappointing summer that my weight has stayed constant for almost 2 months inspite of trying sincerely to lose some.

I know I should think uplifting thoughts and try to come up with a strategy - but the only thing I can think is to keep doing my best and then get back into my aerobics once I'm back to my appartment up north and have my own space and time.

sigh... but it could be worse...
