Wow! I made it through a weekend of cooking for a crowd and actually losing weight! But then, when would I have had a chance to overeat??
It was so awesome to have everyone here this weekend. We met the parents of our son's fiance', and all three of our kids for here at sometime through the weekend. Just didn't get to see one daughter-in-law and 4 3/4 grandchildren. That probably won't happen until Christmas.
Well, off to work, which really helps me to NOT overeat! YAY!

Whew. I lived through yesterday's flu. YUCK.
Now I have to look to this week in Vegas. I don't gamble, but we are heading there for business. I know that I will be able to stay "healthy" during the day, but the evening brings beverages and a fancy dinner. At least I will be getting my protein in. I really do not enjoy the majority of proteins so they are hard for me to eat.
So, I will need to be hyper aware of my surroundings and plan on my meals way ahead of time. Otherwise, oh the temptations!
