I had a really good week, then we went away for a few days and then ...... I overate, had dessert, ate the wrong foods, too much carb.... Bugga!!!

Fractured my hip, unable to do a lot, but doing as much as I can! Until pain drives me to the armchair!!! Taking loads of medications, some of which are very bad for weight watching....making me more hungry, searching for sugary sweet treats, the main culprit being chocolate.
I've been feeling sorry for myself, using food as comfort.
Went to the dietitian again last week, and she remains positive, she thinks I can get back on the horse, even though I can't walk much, she has reduced my starchy foods intake a bit.
I started a new food diary, and am back here noting the calories, carbs etc.
I have lost 30 KGS in 17 months & have only minor hickups with diet all that time.
I mustn't give in to the devil of sugary things.
I must give up Pepsi max and drink more water.
I must snack on almonds not rice crackers.
I must not have bread for lunch.
I must have smaller portions for dinner!
OK Lib ....its time to feel good about yourself again!
Don't be depressed anymore, and especially keep up the good work of the past.
I wish I had a mantra!

Still losing weight, but very slowly.
Over the past 2 months I have been eating a lot of rubbish!
Feeling sad, still mourning the loss of my parents!
The anniversaries of their passing has seen me wallowing in self pity!
Comfort eating is my worst enemy!
Its time to shake it off, get back to being happy about life!
