So I guess I have to stop pretending that I didn't gain a bunch of weight. It just seemed physically impossible that I gained 10 pounds in two weeks, but it's not going away. Clearing the slate and restarting today.

Just placed an online order for a ton of vitalicious stuff and I can't wait for it to arrive. My local store only carries a few types of vitatops so I'm excited to try some new flavors and also to try the vitabrownies. Yum!

Going out for a fancy (hopefully very yummy) dinner tonight. I love trying new restaurants and eating gourmet meals, but it doesn't neccesarily jive well with losing weight. I looked over the menu online and tried to find a reasonable option; I figure scallops are at least better than short ribs. I find it very difficult to approximate my calorie intake though, but I took my best guess. I'm crossing my fingers that I can avoid the temptation of dessert.

So... I've been back on track (kind of, sort of, mostly) for over a week now and I'm pretty bummed that this weight is not coming off anywhere near as quickly as I put it on. It's not fair, but I guess that's life. Things that throw me off my plan:
- Socializing: It seems to always involve eating and/or going out to eat. I love being with my friends and eating delicious restaurant food, but it makes losing weight tough.
- Being bored at home alone: I end up eating when I'm not hungry and eating gross stuff too.
I just can't seem to win...
