Trying some new stuff with the soups. I will eat 2/3 or 3/4 and then add a cup of water and heat it. It forms a thin broth, hit with some black pepper and a little salt. It is much more satisfying.
With the creamy tomato, I add fresh cut basil and parsley. Dried also work well, just add when cooking.
Got on the scale today, 260 lbs. It is at least 5 years since I was that weight. Official weigh in on Monday morning...

Today was very busy at work. I've not eaten at the regular intervals today and I'm very hungry now. I'm going to have an extra meal now and get the distraction out of the way!

So far I'm enjoying the soups/chili of all the meals. If I take the time to prepare and wait for the broth/sauce to form up they are very good. I usually hit them with black pepper and salt for a added punch. I'm also going to try red pepper flakes as well.
