I feel better, look better, but I feel like this is too much weight loss in such a short time Not sure if losing weight this rapidly is healthy. Can't imagine I was carrying around that much extra water, but I guess that is possible. I am not starving myself. I imagine I'll hit a plateau/slow down sooner or later.

How do we deal with being 'polite' at a meal, graciously accepting food we are offered vs. sticking to our guns?
Stuck to my diet until someone 'made' me a salad with all kinds of things I shouldn't eat..maple-candied walnuts, dried cranberries... some kind of sweet raspberry vinaigrette dressing. I did my best to not eat the cranberries, but ate some of the walnuts.
On a positive note, I am doing well on not having that favorite glass (or three) of Chardonnay at night.

Holy water weight batman. If only it were this easy to lose weight. I KNOW this is all water loss. Amazing how cutting out carbs, cutting down on salt and drinking lots of water could do this in a couple of days. I know it won't last and it will be hard to lose all 30 more! Anyway, it gets me a little closer to the goal and well, 4.6 pounds is 4.6 pounds....I am MOTIVATED to STICK TO IT!

I know the weight from yesterday is
mostly
water, ok probably all water, but it feels good to start down a path of loss. Your body doesn't need to hold on to as much water if a) you are drinking lots of it and b) you don't eat as many carbs.
