Loving how I'm eating. I had a chocolate chip cookie from subway tonight and was still under my calorie count. Just amazed that I can still treat myself and watch what I'm eating. Wonderful feeling.

Got back to the gym again last night and did 30 minutes on the eliptical and did strength training on my upper body. I need to remember to take something to write with and something to write on when I go to the gym. I never remember what lbs to use for which machine. My arms feel really weak today.
I already know I have a loss for this week but I was really hoping for a little bit more of a loss. I have to remember this is about doing it the right way and not to expect too much at a time. To remind myself this I am going to put my goals along with the dates and mark off when they were accomplished. I stated my goals on my profile but I need to see how well I'm meeting those goals. Right now it's just an abstract.

Bah!! I just realized that I've been measuring pasta wrong when trying to calculate my calories. I've been weighing/measuring it cooked and the calories are with it uncooked. It's not necessarily a bad thing because I came in under my calorie counts on those days I did eat pasta. I almost wish I didn't know this because I was satisfied with my smaller portions.
Eating under my calories is easier during the week. The weekends are not good. I think this is because I'm sitting around the house not doing a whole lot so it's easier to fill that time with eating. So I need to make sure that I'm a little more active on the weekends to keep my mind off of eating.

FINALLY! Got to the gym. It felt good to get out there and break a sweat. Thinking about doing the eliptical for an hour was really holding me back from going to the gym so instead I did 30 minutes on the eliptical and 30 minutes weight training. I might keep with this if I see good results otherwise I'll have to start doing 30 min eliptical and 30 minute step machine during the week and then continue my weight training on the weekends.
People have been saying that I'm losing weight but it's people close to me that know I'm watching what I'm eating. I feel like I can see a difference in my face a little and my collar bones are starting to become defined again. I know I can reach my goal and I'm a little impatient to get there.
