The sun is shinning here today, it always feels better to start the day. I am doing some more tweaking on my diet, I am up again and I have been faithful to my diet so my numbers just arent working for me right now.. I go down and then up,I don't mind slow but I am losing at a rate of a wee bit over 2 lbs a month at that rate it will take another 15 months to reach my goal :( I have been sticking to the same carb/calorie count for months now so maybe its time for a shake up. bummer :(

Well I made it through the weekend and a birthday party with barely any scars. I am ready to go through this week back on plan after a few vodka and crystal lites which was premeditated so it was actually on MY plan :) I had no desire to keep the old ball rolling and eat my way through the weekend, I didnt even hit the cake. After 8 months on Atkins I finally feel I have control of my appetite and not my appetite in control of me, it feels great. I do however know I am still a carb glutten and will always be, I will always be aware of that and as long as I make Atkins my WOL I will be ok. It does feel good :) Have a great week everyone.

I am back :) the birthday party was a big success everyone had a great time...we had 18 kids in the afternoon, I was in charge of games so I got my exercise. We filled the trampolin with balloons I even had a good bounce..what was I thinking?? After the kids party the adults took over about 20 for cabbage rolls and drinks..yes I had vodka and crystal Lime....yup they were good...we will see how good in the morning when I step on the scale. Travis beat me in a game of sorry before I left for home and he wasnt "sorry". The sun was out for the whole day so it was just a super fun day. I did stick to my WOE with the except of the drinks, didn't even have Birthday Cake. Those that hadn't seen me in a while couldn't believe how much weight I have lost so that made me feel real good. :) Its good to be back but the weekend away was great therapy. :)

We are off to my daughters tonight so I will be there in the morning to help decorate for the party. He is all excited and so are we :) You all be good and so will I . Have a great weekend. :)

Well one more pound gone, its like pulling teeth. Its like trying to take candy from a baby. I work hard at losing each and every pound. My carbs are still at 20 total if I try and raise them or my calories I gain, so I will ride this train as long as I have to. It would be nice to see a 2 or 3 lb drop but that hasn't happened since the beginning so slow and steady wins the race. My Dr told me once I need half of what a normal person needs to eat because of my metabolism and he wasnt kidding.
I know the dreaded weekend is here with all its temptations, its my grandson's birthday tomorrow and I know what that means..when the kids party is over the adults will celebrate..we use all occasions for that. I will go prepared, I have to make cabbage rolls for everyone I will make some with out rice for me..I can and will do this not a problem. Have a great weekend everyone, remember its just two more days of eating for your health...be good to yourself. :)
