Every year my husband buys all these Girl Scout Cookies at work. I think he has to be their biggest buyer. Every year I tell him I do not want them in the house. Last year I think I ate most of them - he was on Atkins and lost a bunch of weight and put it all back on again. I told him not to keep buying them and what does he bring home last night. Our son was here so my husband wanted to open a box - I only had 2 which is the serving size for the cookie which is good that I did not eat more but if they weren't in the house I would have had the temptation. I guess that is what I hope to accomplish and just a serving sizes - BUT IT IS VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

Another "10" for yesterday - even did weights! I won't be able to do as much today - going to see my Dad in the nursing home which is always "tough" - Need to try to not let emotional eating pattern kick in after visit. Just think of manicure and pedicure!

Yesterday was a good day - hope to follow with more. I get so set back on the weekends - need to watch that. Will weigh on Thursday to see how I am doing. If the Wisconsin winter weather would end is certainly would help!! I did start to lift weights which I know is important especially because being 40 this year - the old metabilism slows down. This is a hard thing for me to keep at - not sure why. I can walk or bike every day but when it comes doing weights it is dreadful. I used to do weights MANY MANY YEARS when I belonged to a Health Club and enjoyed them. Maybe that should be part of "DEAL TO MYSELF" to have the manicure and pedicure - need to do weights as directed.

I will be 40 years old this year - I want to finally take control of my bad eating habits. I need to eat in moderation and not everything in sight at times! I have an appt on March 19 for a manicure and pedicure. Unless I lose 5 pounds by then - I can't go! I have to hold myself to this!
