"I been eating everything besides Dante's Dick" ☹️☹️☹️

Ok Ok, that's from Sex and the City - when Samantha gained weight 😂😂😂

Anywho, i've gained 😭😭😭too miserable to jump on the scale
Pass 2 weeks i been eating like freaken crazy and havent gone for my walks AT ALL!!

I went back to smoking, sigh.
horrible habit. but i haven't done so since Friday morning. i haven't bought some and told myself i want to start April on a clean slate.

Staying away from FatSecret also makes you want to eat cause now i no longer have to watch what i eat (logging calories) - NOT GOOD!!!

Yesterday was horrible, i ate and ate and ate and ate and ate and well, ATE! Kinda feeling like a GARBAGE BIN that just doesn't get full, but getting horrible gas.

Today i already had Tea and an apple, i want to go back to eating 1 meal a day and walking 4km a day.

Everytime i lose weight, i somehow get bored. with the food. no change and then i go back to old habits.
i'm on my 10th week, i cant go back to where i was before i started. i want to move forward. i don't want to make excuses anymore. i want results.

its hard to stay motivated! with food temptations and lack of self control.

how do you survive on one meal a day????

As long as you don't give up ..also don't make your goals to hard to reach be gentle and forgiving on yourself ..It's when we judge yourself harshly the wheels fall of ..Love yourself and know that even if just one bad habit gets dropped that's good ..don't try and give to much up all at once it is a lifestyle change

One meal a day and such a strict routine may be by giving up seems so appealing sometimes. U don't need to punish yourself to get results and feel better

I'm trying - if it doesn't workout, then it doesn't. Ill just eat when i cant survive. I also make sure its a massive meal. apples & banana's hopefully don't count as meals (i have those when i'm hungry).

i'm not really punishing myself (OR I THINK), it was working a few weeks back. until i decided to bite on bread. i don't know what to eat anymore, it got a bit boring. same thing over and over. don't know how to make is exciting anymore.

This is the reason y I don't diet ... I get bored so I do eat wat I like but do swaps for carbs I'm glad I can eat tasty stuff coz for it's the taste n not getting stuffed if I can have some chicken curry more meat half potatoe with half a slice bread .... I'm full instead of b4 2 large spoons of rice with chicken curry and potatoes n sometimes even a 2nd helping.... my point is I miss the old foods but if there's some change it helps drink water b4 a meal it really helps

I was weirdly reading a super interesting article today on the topic of motivation. it basically said we really to heavily on our motivation when it comes to to weight loss and then when motivation takes a holiday because it is after all a fickle beast we are left feeling despondent wondering where the hell it went to and where we went wrong. the article basically said to use motivation as a starting point in our journey but we shouldn't rely on it to always be there because when the going gets tough it gets going. we should instead utilize the energy from the motivation to build discipline, so while you are all spunky set yourself up for the long haul for example if you want to walk everyday you should set an alarm in the morning and put your phone alarm together with your work out clothes and shoes that way when you get up you see the work out gear. same thing with food meal prepping portion controlled meals on a Sunday for the week ahead to avoid binging unnecessarily because it suddenly takes the thought out of whats for dinner. Basically the article was saying that your environment should be set up in such a way that your goals are put first.

Thank you all, i really appreciate all the advise. i will definitely try the phone with the workout clothes. im not really a big fan of meal prep, especially if its the same thing over and over, but i take it into consideration. 2 weeks ago i was excited and motivated, something switched off completely and i don't want to be where i was before i started.

Me too🤦🏿‍♀️ when ever I loose kg or 2 I unconsciously go in self sabotage mode and eat until my tummy hurts Then I regain the weight. It’s a viscous cycle
