Sore legs....

Two more days to go for this weeks workouts. The Jillian Michaels strength training DVD, followed by yesterday's 4 mi. run have got my legs so sore. I know I will NOT feeling like running again today, even if I allow myself an easy run,.. but I MUST. Momentum is so important with exercise routines, especially in the beginning.

Must maintain momentum this week, enjoy Saturday off, then pat myself on the back for making it through this week, back on track.

Still having trouble sleeping at night......... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I fully sympathise with the sore legs peasncues! I did a workout today after a few days off and I am definately worse for wear. But experience has taught me that I'll recover quicker if I get straight back into the workout again tomorrow!!! You can do it!! :D

Thanks for the words of sympathy MJ :) Misery DOES love company! :) I've been in the 'debating taking today off' mode, but your little pep talk is giving me some good encouragement. You are right, I will recover better if I just get back in the saddle today. Thanks so much, those little boosts amount to a lot!

Got on the treadmill again today, for 4.06 miles. I had intended to take it easy, but went from easy jog, to intervals, to sprinting at the very end to beat yesterday's distance. Eating went well today, but my carb/protein ratio is off. Too many carbs today for me. Oh well, they're healthy carbs, and with 4 miles of running hopefully they burned their way out. Bracing myself for the weekend now ... dinner with a group of friends tomorrow night, lunch out Saturday. I'd rather eat a turd sandwich than have to sit at a table in a Mexican restaurant and NOT each chips and salsa, or have a margarita! >:0
