friend came by yesterday and brought a bit of stuff to help us stretch until friday (we get paid tomorrow, but can't go to the store until fri). i ended up overeating yesterday, but tbh i'm not fussed about it.

if i look at the whole week, i'm still down over 5,000 cals (1900*7=13300, and last wednesday-yesterday was 7739). i prefer looking at a week instead of per day, as i'm likely to start obsessing unhealthily and weighing constantly etc etc. if i average the week out, it's easier for me to not go into a downward spiral.

of course, yesterday's mini-binge means that today and tomorrow are gonna be tighter again but not "i can eat a couple slices of bread cuz that's all we've got" tight. and that's fine with me tbh.

Sweetie, I remember a time when we only had flour, lard and baking soda, in the house for about two months, we ate nothing but biscuits and gravy. Those were the early years of our marriage and it was tough, but we made it through. Hold tight to each other and have faith that this too will pass.
