D1srupta's Journal, 17 Jun 16

Today was an intermittent fasting day in which I did not eat until about 2PM, and then I stopped eating by 5PM. I was invited to lunch by my supervisor that simply does not comprehend the whole ketosis diet thing, and saying no is not something I intend to do. It is ok though because I know that it won't kill me, and all it will do is put on some water weight and derail the ketosis for a while.

I went home after I eating and did a strength training work out in the hopes to work off some of the carbs I put into my system. I plan to intermittent fast again in the same manner tomorrow, but I'll eat the normal keto foods again.

With that said, I'm not really sure how to add the food so I'll leave the log empty for today. The foods aren't in the log, and I'm sure the sauce alone was 300 carbs haha.

:)
All of life successfully involves dealing with interruptions to our plans and routines. Sounds like you handled it well. The beauty of IF is its flexibility. When I get thrown off I apply this one principle and it's been really helpful - start back exactly where you left off. Don't wait for the next day, just start the next meal as though you hadn't slipped up or gotten off program. Sometimes connecting with people is more important than our eating plans as long as we don't make and excuse of it.
