Due to the super encouragement of everyone who responds to my buddy requests, but especially saswank80, I finally feel I am getting it. By that I mean taking care of me in all aspects of my life, no matter what they are. I am being faithful in writing everything down as well as learning the triggers that cause me to want to eat. I am educating myself by reading more things online that are helpful like organic eating, etc. We have lots of markets that cater to that need so I will visit them more often! I also need to remember that while my Mom can drive me crazy sometimes, she is very supportive and will make sure that we purchase the items that I want to make things easier for me. She still is a dessert fiend (and has been petite all of her life!). So, I am blessed and will do what is best for me, not punish myself when I falter and be proud of my accomplishments.

Wow it sounds like you are finding yourself..that is so awesome. I like what you said about doing what is best for you and not punishing yourself when you falter. That's important that you realize you will fall down sometimes and as long as you get back up and keep going you will win the battle.
