I hear you. This was always my problem with a diet like Atkins or Low Carb High Fat or whatever. At least with the 5:2 fast diet I can plan my fast days and then just eat normally but healthily on the weekends. If I want that potato or a piece of bread, just need to calculate the calories and make sure that I have lots of fruit and veggies inbetween. I am not sure if anyone else finds this a much easier and sustainable "life style"
